Sir,
I am directed by the Postmaster General to transmit herewith, for the information of the Secretary of Stata for the Colonies, a copy of a telegram received from the Postmaster General of Hong Kong and of the reply sent.
I am to state that, although neutral sailings to Scandinavian Countries are at present suspended, the mail Service through Scandinavia for the Siberian route is being maintained by sailings of British chips; and in the opinion
of the Postmaster Genoral there is no occasion at prosent to alter the ordinary course of despatches of Mails by that route.
The Under Secretary of State,
COLONIAL OFFICE.
I am,
Sir,
Your obediant Sorvant,
EW. Fainall
